Bus
From the center of Caen, head to the nearest bus stop, Gare Routière. Take bus line 70 towards Bayeux. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Bayeux, Gare Sncf. From the bus stop, walk to Rue Saint-Jean, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head southeast on Rue de la Gare, then take a left onto Rue Saint-Jean. The Bayeux Tourist Office will be on your left.
Train
Make your way to Caen train station (Gare de Caen). Purchase a ticket for the train to Bayeux, which departs regularly. The train journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Bayeux station, exit the station and walk towards Rue de la Gare. Continue walking straight until you reach Rue Saint-Jean, then turn left. The Bayeux Tourist Office will be a short walk down on your left.
Walking
If you are already in Bayeux, you can walk to the Bayeux Tourist Office. From the Bayeux Cathedral, head south on Rue de la Cathédrale towards Rue de Nesmond. Continue onto Rue des Cuisiniers until you reach the intersection with Rue Saint-Jean. Turn right onto Rue Saint-Jean, and you will find the Bayeux Tourist Office on your right.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from Caen to Bayeux. Start from the city center, following the designated cycling paths towards Bayeux. The ride is approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace. Once in Bayeux, follow the signs to the town center and head towards Rue Saint-Jean. The Bayeux Tourist Office will be on your left as you enter the street.
