Walking
From the Caen Memorial, the Colline aux Oiseaux is a short walk. Exit the Memorial and head north, following Avenue de l'Amiral Mountbatten. The park entrance will be on your left. The walk is mostly flat and takes about 5 minutes.
Public Transport
From Caen city center, take the Twisto bus line 4 towards 'Hérouville Saint-Clair - Montmorency'. Get off at the 'Colline aux Oiseaux' stop, which is directly in front of the park entrance. A single ticket costs €1.60 and is valid for one hour. Alternatively, take the tram to the 'Université' stop and walk for about 15 minutes following Avenue de l'Amiral Mountbatten.
Driving
From the A13 highway, take the périphérique Nord (northern ring road) and exit at Sortie (Exit) 6 towards 'Caen Nord/Mémorial'. Follow the signs for the Mémorial and then for Colline aux Oiseaux. Free parking is available in front of the park on Avenue de l'Amiral Mountbatten. Parking can be limited during peak season.
