If you are starting from the Caen Carpiquet Airport, exit the airport and head south on Rue des Frênes toward D51. After about 300 meters, you will find a bus stop. Take Bus Line 5 (Direction: Caen) for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop 'Gare SNCF' (Caen train station). From the train station, walk towards Rue de Bernières and continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Place Saint-Sauveur. Here, turn left onto Rue Saint-Pierre and continue walking straight for about 600 meters. You will eventually reach the United States Armed Forces Memorial Garden, located at 14000 Caen.

From the castle, head southeast on Rue de la Délivrande, passing through Rue de Geôle and continuing straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will arrive at Place de la République.
