Travel Guide to La Garoupe

Getting There

• Walk

  From the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, head east on Rue d'Antibes toward Boulevard de la République. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Boulevard de la Croisette. Turn right onto Boulevard de la Croisette and walk along the promenade until you reach the Port of Cannes. At the port, look for the signs for the Chemin des Écoles, which will lead you towards the Cap d'Antibes. Follow the Chemin des Écoles signs as they will take you through a scenic route with beautiful views of the sea. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach the entrance to the Cap d'Antibes. From there, follow the path leading to La Garoupe beach.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the Cannes city center, find the nearest bus stop and take Bus line 200 towards Nice. Make sure to get off at the stop 'Gare d'Antibes'. From the bus stop, walk towards Rue de la République and follow it until you reach Avenue de l'Église. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Église and continue straight until you reach the coast. From here, you can walk along the coastal path that leads directly to La Garoupe beach. The entire travel time should take approximately 30-40 minutes.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a quicker and more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service. Simply request a ride to 'La Garoupe', which is located at the Cap d'Antibes. Depending on traffic, the drive from central Cannes should take around 15-20 minutes. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are familiar with the location, as it is a popular beach area.
