Walking
From the Cannes city center or the Old Port (Vieux Port), Le Suquet is easily accessible on foot. Head west towards the Forville Market. From the market, ascend the hill via Rue du Marché Forville or Rue Saint-Antoine, the oldest street in Cannes. The walk is uphill and takes approximately 5-10 minutes, offering picturesque views along the way. Note that the streets are cobbled and can be steep in places.
Public Transport
The Palm Bus line 1 or the Suquet Shuttle can be used to reach Le Suquet from various points in Cannes. Take the bus to the Hôtel de Ville stop, which is located at the base of Le Suquet. From there, it's a short walk uphill to the heart of the district. A single bus ticket costs €1.80. The « Suquet Forville Pass » allows you to travel for a whole day on the Suquet Shuttle for €0.90.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available in Cannes. Request a ride to Place du Suquet or Musée de la Castre. Be aware that vehicle access within Le Suquet is restricted, so the taxi will likely drop you off at the base of the hill, requiring a short uphill walk. A taxi ride from the city center to Le Suquet typically costs between €7-€10.
Driving
Driving directly into Le Suquet is not recommended due to narrow streets and limited parking. The best option is to park in the Suquet-Forville car park (Parking Suquet Forville, 7 rue Louis Pastour) located at the foot of the hill. From there, it's a short walk up to Le Suquet. Parking fees at Suquet-Forville vary, but expect to pay around €2.50 - €3.50 per hour. There are often special offers such as free parking for 3 hours on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays and a Saturday night rate of €3 maximum from 7pm to 9am.
