Public Transport
From Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, take bus line 3 from the Chamonix Bus Station (Gare Routière) towards Les Houches. Get off at the 'Les Houches - Buvette' stop. From there, it's approximately a 20-minute walk to Cascade du Flanbu, following the well-marked path. The bus fare is around €2.50, with regular services throughout the day. A 'carte d'hôte' (guest card), provided by your accommodation, grants free access to the bus system.
Driving
If driving from central Chamonix, head southeast on Rue de la Poste toward Avenue Michel Croz. Continue onto Route Blanche/D1506 for about 2.5 km. Turn right onto Chemin des Écuries, following signs for Cascade du Flanbu. After approximately 1.5 km, you'll find a small parking area near the cascade. Parking is limited, especially during peak seasons. Parking is free.
Walking
For a scenic hike, start from Chamonix town center and head towards the Aiguille du Midi cable car station. Follow the hiking trails leading to Cascade du Flanbu. The hike takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Wear hiking boots and bring water and snacks. The trail is well-marked.
