Public Transport
From Chamonix, take bus number 2 towards Les Bossons. The bus ride is approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Glacier des Bossons' stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the Glacier des Bossons chairlift (Télésiège des Glaciers des Bossons). The chairlift operates seasonally (mid-June to mid-September). A round-trip ticket costs approximately €13 for adults. Check the current schedule and prices before heading out. From the top of the chairlift, follow the well-marked trail towards La Jonction. The hike from here is approximately 5-6 hours round trip, depending on your fitness level. The bus ticket costs approximately €1.50 if purchased directly from the driver.
Walking
If starting directly from Les Bossons village (without taking the chairlift), follow the signs towards 'Glacier des Bossons' and 'La Jonction'. The trail begins near the ski jump area and ascends through the forest. This adds an extra hour to the ascent. Once you reach the top of the chairlift area (Chalet du Glacier des Bossons), continue following the signs for La Jonction. Be prepared for a steep and continuous climb. No additional costs are involved if you choose to hike the entire way.
