Walking
The Brévent cable car is located within easy walking distance of the Chamonix town center. From Place du Mont Blanc, walk east along Avenue Ravanel le Rouge. The cable car station is approximately a 5-10 minute walk. Look for signs directing you to the 'Téléphérique du Brévent'. No costs are associated with walking.
Public Transport
Chamonix has a free bus service for visitors with a 'carte d'hôte' (guest card), obtainable from your accommodation. Several bus lines stop near the Brévent cable car station. Check local bus schedules for the most convenient route and stop. The nearest bus stop is 'Brévent'. Validate your guest card upon boarding. There is no cost associated with the bus if you have a guest card.
Taxi/Ride-Share

Driving

Cable Car
The final ascent to Le Brévent requires purchasing a ticket for the Brévent cable car. As of May 2025, a round-trip ticket for adults costs €41.20, and a round-trip ticket for children (5-14 years) costs €35. One way tickets are also available. Check the official website for current pricing and to purchase tickets in advance. The ticket covers both the gondola from Chamonix to Planpraz and the cable car from Planpraz to Le Brévent.
