Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Chamonix and head southeast on Avenue de l'Aiguille du Midi. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. After passing the Aiguille du Midi cable car station, take a right onto Rue du Docteur Paccard. Follow this road, which becomes Impasse de l'Enclume, for approximately 500 meters. Chemin du Pied du Grépon is located at the end of this street, where you will find access points to the surrounding climbing areas.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Chemin du Pied du Grépon via public transportation, start at the Chamonix bus station (Gare Routière). From there, take the local bus line that heads towards Aiguille du Midi. Make sure to check the bus schedule as it can vary. Get off at the Aiguille du Midi station. From this stop, it’s a short walk. Head southeast on the path that leads to Avenue de l'Aiguille du Midi, then take a right onto Rue du Docteur Paccard, which turns into Impasse de l'Enclume. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to Chemin du Pied du Grépon.

• Walking

  For those already in the central area of Chamonix and wishing to walk, begin at the Tourist Information Center located on Place de l'Office de Tourisme. Head south on Rue de la Poste towards Avenue de l'Aiguille du Midi. After about 500 meters, turn right onto Rue du Docteur Paccard. Continue straight; Rue du Docteur Paccard will become Impasse de l'Enclume. Follow this path until you reach Chemin du Pied du Grépon, which will be visible at the end of the street.
