From the Aosta train station, head north along Via Monte Emilius. Turn right onto Via XX Settembre, continuing until you reach Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII. The Criptoportico Forense is located directly on the left side of the Cathedral in the square. The walk is approximately 15 minutes. Alternatively, from Piazza Émile Chanoux, walk east along Via Jean-Baptiste de Tillier, then turn right onto Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII. The Criptoportico will be on your right. This walk is about 5 minutes.
Public Transport
From the Aosta train station, local buses (Line 1 or Line 2) stop near Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII. The bus fare is approximately €1.50. Check local bus schedules for the most up-to-date information. From the bus stop, the Criptoportico Forense is a short walk across the Piazza.
