Walking
From the center of Chamonix (e.g., Place du Mont Blanc), walk southwest on Rue du Docteur Paccard. Turn right onto Avenue Michel Croz and continue to the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rue Joseph Vallot, then the first exit at the next roundabout onto Rue de la Tournette. Le Parc Couttet will be on your right. The walk is approximately 20 minutes (1.5 km) and offers views of the surrounding mountains.
Public Transport
Take the local bus from Chamonix Bus Station (Gare Routière de Chamonix) towards 'Les Praz' or 'Argentiere'. Disembark at the 'Les Tines' or 'Le Savoy' stop. From either stop, walk approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the park. Head towards Rue de la Tournette and follow it until you arrive at the park entrance. Bus fare is free with the guest card provided by your accommodation; otherwise, a single trip costs around €2.
Taxi/Ride-Share
A taxi or ride-share from the Chamonix train station or town center to Le Parc Couttet will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around €15-€20 for the short trip.
Driving
From the center of Chamonix, head southwest on Rue du Docteur Paccard towards Avenue Michel Croz. Turn right onto Avenue Michel Croz and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rue Joseph Vallot. Follow this road until you reach the next roundabout, and take the first exit onto Rue de la Tournette. Continue on this road for about 1 kilometer, and Le Parc Couttet will be on your right. Limited parking is available nearby, and it's advisable to check for parking regulations. Free parking may be found at Parking du Biolay on Avenue Cachat le Géant, or behind the train station on Rue Helbronner. Paid parking is available at Parking St Michel, with hourly rates around €2-3 and daily rates around €20-€25.
