Walking
From the center of Montrichard-Val-de-Cher, such as the town hall (Mairie), Caves Monmousseau is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Head east on Rue Nationale, then turn left onto Rue de Vierzon. Continue along Rue de Vierzon; the caves will be on your left. The route is mostly flat and well-signed. Look for signs pointing towards 'Caves Monmousseau'. Free parking is available on-site.
Public Transport
If arriving by train at Montrichard-Val-de-Cher station, the caves are approximately a 25-minute walk or a short taxi ride away. From the station, walk north towards the town center, then follow the walking directions as above. Alternatively, taxis are usually available outside the station for around €10-€15. Check local taxi fares beforehand. Réseau Rémi buses also serve Montrichard, but the closest stop to the caves may still require a 10-15 minute walk. Check the Réseau Rémi website for schedules and routes.
Driving
From the A85 motorway, take the Montrichard exit. Follow signs towards Montrichard-Val-de-Cher. Once in Montrichard, follow signs for 'Caves Monmousseau'. The caves are located on Rue de Vierzon. On-site parking is free. Be aware that Rue de Vierzon can be narrow in places. There are no tolls on the immediate approach to the caves. Parking is free at the location.
