Remains of medieval activities are still part of the Marion-Bosser house as it was initially used as a post office for couriers to distribute news from Paris to the capital of Champagne, Epernay as well as to the coronation place of kings of France in Reims. Today, Champagne Marion-Bosser is run by Elodie Marion, a graduate of viticulture and enology from Beaune, who carries on the family's commitment to excellence. With only 4 hectares of Premier Cru vines, the estate produces a limited quantity of exceptional champagnes, each reflecting the unique terroir of Hautvillers. The vineyards, primarily south-southeast facing, benefit from optimal sun exposure and the region's distinctive belemnite chalk soil, providing the perfect conditions for producing top-quality grapes.
