Walking
From the center of Sedan, the castle is easily accessible on foot. Follow the signs towards 'Château Fort'. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes, offering views of the town along the way. Note that the final approach involves a slight incline as you ascend towards the castle entrance.
Public Transport
If arriving by train at Gare de Sedan, local bus services are available to reach the castle. Alternatively, a taxi from the train station to the castle costs approximately €10. The bus journey takes around 10 minutes, while a taxi ride is even quicker. Walking from the train station is also an option, taking approximately 20 minutes.
Parking
If arriving by car, follow the signs to 'Château Fort'. Free parking is available near the castle. However, during peak season or special events, parking may be limited. An alternative parking area is located behind the castle, accessible by bypassing the castle and following the signs. Be aware that some parking spots may have height restrictions due to tree branches.
