From the center of Colmar, head southwest on Rue des Marchands towards Place de la Cathedrale. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where you will see the Colmar Cathedral. From the cathedral, take Rue des Clefs and walk until you come to Place de l'Ancienne Douane. Continue to walk straight, and as you exit the old town area, follow signs towards the train station. Once you reach the train station, you will need to take a train to Freiburg im Breisgau, which is about a 40-minute journey. After arriving at Freiburg Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and follow the signs for the tram station. Take Tram Line 1 towards 'Littenweiler' and get off at 'Münsterplatz'. You will find the square just a short walk from the tram stop.
