Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Dijon city center, head towards Place de la Libération. From there, take Boulevard de la Liberté towards Rue de la Préfecture. Continue straight until you reach Rue de la République, then turn right. Follow Rue de la République until you reach the train station, Gare de Dijon-Ville. From the train station, you can take a train to Beaune. The train ride takes about 20 minutes, and trains run frequently throughout the day.

    Once you arrive at Gare de Dijon-Ville, purchase a ticket to Beaune from the ticket machine or counter. After getting your ticket, check the train schedule on the display boards for your train to Beaune. Upon arrival in Beaune, exit the station and head towards the town center. You can either walk or take a local bus. If walking, head straight down Avenue Charles de Gaulle, which will take you directly into the center of Beaune.

    After arriving in Beaune, walk along Avenue Charles de Gaulle until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Rue de Lorraine. Continue on Rue de Lorraine until you reach Rue Paradis. The Musée du Vin - Hôtel des Ducs de Bourgogne will be located at 24 rue Paradis ou, Rue d'Enfer, which is just a short walk from the roundabout.

    If you prefer not to walk, you can take local bus line 1 from Beaune train station towards Place de la République. Get off at the stop called 'Hôtel de Ville' and from there, it's just a 5-minute walk to the museum at 24 rue Paradis ou, Rue d'Enfer. Just head down Rue de la République, then turn left onto Rue Paradis.
