If you are traveling by car, begin your journey in the Dordogne Valley. Navigate to D706 road towards Les Eyzies. Follow the signs for Les Eyzies, and as you approach the town, look for Route de Sarlat. The Grotte des Combarelles is located on Route de Sarlat, about 2 kilometers from the center of Les Eyzies. There is parking available near the entrance of the cave. Be sure to check the parking fees if applicable.

Public Transportation
To reach Grotte des Combarelles via public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is Les Eyzies-de-Tayac. From the train station, you can either walk or take a local taxi. The Grotte is approximately a 25-minute walk from the train station. If you choose to walk, head south on Avenue de la République, then take a right onto Route de Sarlat. Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the Grotte. Alternatively, you can ask for local taxi services at the station for a more comfortable ride.
