If you're traveling by car, start on the D704 road from any point in Dordogne. Head towards Périgueux, and once you reach the city, continue on the D6089 towards Brive. Take the exit for D6089 towards Chancelade/Escoire. After about 5 kilometers, turn right onto Rue du Château. Follow this road, and you will arrive at Château d'Escoire, located at 31 Rue du Château, 24420 Escoire. Parking is available near the castle, but be mindful of any local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Château d'Escoire using public transportation, take a train to Périgueux station from your starting location in Dordogne. From Périgueux, take bus line 2 towards Escoire. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop to the castle. After getting off, it’s a short 15-minute walk to Château d'Escoire located at 31 Rue du Château. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may vary, especially on weekends.
Bicycle
