If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Besançon, the capital of Franche-Comté. Head east on Rue des Granges towards Rue de la République, then turn right onto D673. Continue on D673 for about 30 km. After passing through the town of Ornans, keep going until you see signs for Belvoir. Follow the signs to Belvoir Castle located at 1 Rue du Bourg, 25430 Belvoir. There is parking available near the castle.
Public Transportation
To reach Belvoir Castle by public transportation, first take a train from Besançon to the town of Pontarlier. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. From Pontarlier, you will need to catch a local bus (line 3) heading towards Belvoir. The bus will take you directly to Belvoir. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited on weekends. The castle is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are in the nearby village of Belvoir, you can easily walk to the castle. From the village center, head towards 1 Rue du Bourg. The walk is approximately 10 minutes, and you will be greeted by picturesque views along the way. The path is well-marked and accessible.
