Car
From Chamonix, take the N205 road towards Bonneville. Continue on this road for approximately 45 km. As you approach Bonneville, follow the signs for Thyez by merging onto the D1201 road. After about 8 km, you will see signs for Lac de Thyez. Follow the road until you reach the parking area near the lake.
Public Transportation
Start from the nearest train station, which is in Cluses. Take a train from Cluses to Bonneville; the journey takes about 15 minutes. Once in Bonneville, exit the train station and look for bus line 61 towards Thyez. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Thyez - Lac de Thyez' stop, and you will see the lake just a short walk away.
Car
If you are coming from Annecy, head northwest on the N201 road towards Albertville. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N508. Continue on the N508 until you reach Bonneville. Then, follow the signs to merge onto the D1201 road towards Thyez. After about 8 km, you will arrive at Lac de Thyez.
Public Transportation
If you are in Annecy, take bus line 100 from Annecy to Cluses. From Cluses, switch to the train to Bonneville. At Bonneville, take bus line 61 towards Thyez and exit at 'Thyez - Lac de Thyez.' The lake is a short walk from the bus stop.
