The road will lead you up into the mountains with stunning views along the way. Be aware that the D71 road, also known as Corniche Sublime, is a very exciting journey. The journey is very challenging, with a couple of very narrow tunnels, totally impassable for 2 cars at the same time. Parking is available in designated areas along the route.

    To reach Corniche Sublime via public transportation, take a train or bus to Castellane. From Castellane, you can catch a local bus that goes to Rougon. Check bus schedules in advance. From Rougon, you can walk to the Corniche Sublime following marked hiking trails. The walk offers breathtaking scenery of the Gorges du Verdon. A taxi from Castellane to Rougon is approximately €30-€40.
