Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Grenoble train station (Gare de Grenoble), exit the station and head towards Rue de la République. Walk straight along Rue de la République until you reach Place Victor Hugo. From there, turn right onto Rue de la Liberté and continue until you reach the end of the street. At the end of Rue de la Liberté, turn left onto Quai de France. Continue walking along the riverbank until you see the entrance to Jardin des Dauphins on your right at 24 Quai de France.

Tram
From the city center, you can take tram line A (the green line) towards 'Échirolles - Le Parc'. Get off at the 'Gare' stop, which is located near the train station. From there, you can follow the walking directions: exit the station and walk towards Rue de la République, then proceed to Place Victor Hugo and continue as described above. Alternatively, you can take tram line B (the yellow line) from 'Victor Hugo' towards 'Gières - Plaine des Sports' and get off at 'Gare'. This will also lead you to the same walking route.

You can take bus line 5 from various points in the city. Get on the bus heading towards 'Gare Routière' and disembark at the 'Gare Routière' stop. From there, follow the same walking directions as described earlier: head towards Rue de la République, then to Place Victor Hugo, and along Quai de France to reach Jardin des Dauphins.
