Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from central Paris, start by heading east on Rue de Rivoli. Continue straight until you reach the Place de la Bastille. From there, take the Boulevard Richard Lenoir. As you drive, keep an eye out for Rue Saint-Martin. Turn left onto Rue Saint-Martin and look for Passage de l'Ancre at 223 Rue Saint-Martin. Note that parking in this area can be challenging, so plan to look for a nearby parking garage, which may incur fees of approximately €3 to €5 per hour.

• Metro

  To reach Passage de l'Ancre by Metro, find your way to the nearest Metro station and take Line 1 (Yellow Line) towards Château de Vincennes. Alight at the Châtelet station. From Châtelet, transfer to Line 4 (Dark Blue Line) in the direction of Porte de Clignancourt. Get off at the Saint-Michel station. Exit the station and head northwest on Boulevard Saint-Michel. Turn left onto Rue Saint-Jacques, and then take another left onto Rue Saint-Martin. Continue walking until you reach 223 Rue Saint-Martin, where Passage de l'Ancre is located. The cost of a single Metro ticket is approximately €1.90.

• Bus

  For those preferring to travel by bus, locate the nearest bus stop and take Bus line 38, which travels toward Gare de l'Est. Alight at the stop named 'République'. From there, you can either walk or transfer to Metro line 3 (Light Blue Line) at the République station. Take Metro line 3 in the direction of Gallieni and get off at the Arts et Métiers station. Exit the station and walk along Rue Réaumur until you reach Rue Saint-Martin. Turn right on Rue Saint-Martin, and Passage de l'Ancre will be at 223 Rue Saint-Martin. A bus ticket also costs around €1.90.
