Car
If you are traveling by car, head to Le Grau-du-Roi in the Languedoc Coast area. From Montpellier, take the A9 motorway towards Nîmes, then exit at Junction 29 (Nîmes-Ouest) to merge onto the D979 towards Le Grau-du-Roi. Follow the signs for Le Grau-du-Roi, and then for Plage Rive Gauche. There is parking available nearby, but please note that parking fees may apply, typically ranging from €2 to €5 per day depending on the season.
Public Transportation
To reach Plage Rive Gauche using public transport, take a train from Montpellier to Le Grau-du-Roi. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Le Grau-du-Roi train station, exit the station and catch the local bus (Line 1) that goes to the beach. The bus will drop you off close to Plage Rive Gauche. Alternatively, you can walk to the beach from the station, which is about a 20-minute walk.
