If you are driving from Montpellier, take the A750 motorway towards Millau. After approximately 25 kilometers, take exit 58 towards Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. Continue following the signs for Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert for about 10 kilometers. As you approach the village, you will see signs for Abbaye de Gellone. Park in the designated parking area near the village center, and then it's a short walk to the abbey located at Pl. de la Liberté.

To reach Abbaye de Gellone using public transport, start by taking a train from Montpellier to the nearest station, which is Lodève. From Lodève, catch a local bus, Line 5, which goes directly to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in the village, walk towards Pl. de la Liberté, where the abbey is located. It should take you about 5-10 minutes on foot.
Car (from Béziers)
If you are coming from Béziers, take the A9 motorway towards Montpellier. After about 40 kilometers, take the exit for the A750 towards Millau. Follow the A750 for about 25 kilometers and take exit 58 for Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. Continue on the road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the village. Park in the village center and walk to Pl. de la Liberté to find the abbey.

Begin your journey by taking a train from Nîmes to Montpellier. Once in Montpellier, switch to a train that goes to Lodève. From Lodève, take bus Line 5 to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert.
