Getting there

Car

To reach Château Laurens by car, start on the A9 motorway. If you are coming from Montpellier, take the A9 towards Narbonne. Exit at 'Agde' (exit 34) and follow signs for 'Agde'. Once in Agde, take Avenue Raymond Pitet towards Domaine de Belle Isle. The Château will be on your right. Parking is available nearby. Make sure to check if there are any parking fees in the area.

Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, take a train to Agde from major cities in Languedoc like Montpellier or Narbonne. The train station in Agde is located about 3 km from Château Laurens. From the Agde train station, you can take a taxi or use a local bus service to reach Domaine de Belle Isle, where the Château is located. Taxis are readily available outside the train station, and a typical fare to the Château should be around €10-€15.

Walking

If you are already in Agde and prefer to walk, you can reach Château Laurens from the city center. Head south on Avenue de la République and continue straight until you reach Avenue Raymond Pitet. Turn left and follow the road for about 3 km. The walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.

Bicycle

For the more adventurous, consider cycling to Château Laurens. There are bike rental services available in Agde. From the city center, you can follow the same route as walking—head south on Avenue de la République, then turn left onto Avenue Raymond Pitet. The ride is approximately 3 km and should take about 15-20 minutes. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling laws.
