From Montpellier, take the A750 highway towards Lattes. Merge onto the A9 towards Nîmes. Take the exit 28 towards Ganges/Clermont-l'Hérault and merge onto D986. Follow D986 for about 30 km until you reach Causse-de-la-Selle. Look for signs for Gorges de l'Hérault as you approach the area. Please note that parking may incur a fee depending on the specific area you choose to park.

Take a train from Montpellier to Ganges. Trains run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Ganges, you can take a local bus (Line 4) towards Causse-de-la-Selle. Check the local schedule for bus timings, as they may vary. The bus will drop you near the entrance to Gorges de l'Hérault. Be aware that the local bus may have a small fare (around €1.50) for a one-way ticket.

For the adventurous, you can bicycle from Montpellier to Gorges de l'Hérault. The route takes you through scenic countryside and is approximately 35 km. If you are already in Causse-de-la-Selle, you can walk to Gorges de l'Hérault. It’s about a 3 km walk from the town center.
