Car
From Montpellier, take the A9 motorway towards Narbonne. Continue on A9 for approximately 35 km until you reach the exit 29 towards Béziers/Agde. Merge onto the A75 and follow the signs for Clermont-l'Hérault. After about 20 km, take exit 58 toward Vailhan/Le Poujol-sur-Orb. Continue straight for about 5 km, following the signs to Vailhan. Once in Vailhan, follow the road signs to Lac et Barrage de Vailhan.
Public Transportation
If you are in Montpellier, take the train from Montpellier Saint-Roch station to Béziers. The journey takes around 30 minutes. From Béziers, catch the bus line 206 towards Clermont-l'Hérault. Get off at the stop 'Vailhan'. From there, it's a 20-minute walk to Lac et Barrage de Vailhan. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may not run frequently.
Car from Béziers
From Béziers, head north on the D909 towards Clermont-l'Hérault. Continue for about 20 km until you reach the town of Vailhan. Once in Vailhan, follow the signs to Lac et Barrage de Vailhan. There is parking available near the lake.
