Private Roman Rhône Provence, Pont du Gard to Chateauneuf du Pape

Roaming the Roman ruins, Gothic inspiration and tasting fine wines - a perfect day for an architect!

Christopher led us on an amazing day beginning with ancient Roman architecture and feat of engineering, the Pont du Gard. We also found La Chartreuse in Villeneuve lez Avignon to be exquisite in every way from the Gothic architecture to the frescoes and flowering trees - we felt as though we were on our own private photo shoot. Our day concluded with an intimate wine tasting experience at Chateau de la Gardine in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. We loved the wines and our host Julie. Traveling with my daughter the architect and her best friend made this a perfect day in Provence.
