Walking

From the village center of Les Baux-de-Provence, the Château is easily accessible on foot. Follow the main street, Grand Rue Frédéric Mistral, towards the southern end of the village. The walk is uphill and takes approximately 5-10 minutes. Note that the village streets are paved with cobblestones, so wear appropriate footwear.

If arriving by bus, the nearest bus stop is 'Les Baux'. From the bus stop, walk along Grand Rue Frédéric Mistral towards the castle. The walk is uphill and takes approximately 5-10 minutes. Bus line 707 connects Les Baux-de-Provence with Arles and Avignon during the summer. A single ticket costs €3.
Parking

If driving, several parking areas are available outside the village walls. Parking fees apply and can range from €5 for 1 hour to €10 for 10 hours. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak season. From the parking area, follow the signs to the village entrance and then proceed along Grand Rue Frédéric Mistral to reach the castle.
