Car
From Les Arcs, take the D198 road heading towards Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Follow the D198 for approximately 17 kilometers until you reach the junction with the N90. Turn left onto the N90 and continue for about 12 kilometers. Take the exit towards Tignes (D87) and follow the road signs to Tignes. Once in Tignes, look for signs directing you to the Réserve naturelle nationale de la Grande Sassière. The parking area near the reserve may have a small fee, usually around €5 for the day.
Public Transportation
From Les Arcs, take a bus to Bourg-Saint-Maurice. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once at Bourg-Saint-Maurice, transfer to a bus heading to Tignes. This leg of the journey typically takes about 45 minutes. Upon arrival in Tignes, you may need to walk or take a local shuttle service to reach the Réserve naturelle nationale de la Grande Sassière. Hiking
