Car
If you are driving to Cassis rock from central Les Calanques National Park, take the D559 road towards Cassis. The drive is scenic, with opportunities to stop and enjoy the views. Follow the signs to Cassis, and as you approach the town, look for parking options. There are several public parking lots available, but be aware that they can fill up quickly, especially during peak tourist season. Expect to pay around €1.50 per hour for parking.
Public Transportation
From Marseille, take the Metro Line 2 to 'Sainte-Marguerite - Dromel' station. From there, transfer to bus line 21 towards 'Cassis'. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Cassis, walk towards the port area and follow the coastal path leading to Cassis rock. The entire journey using public transport will cost around €3.00 one way.
Hiking
For adventurous travelers already in the park, you can hike from the Calanque de Port Miou to Cassis rock. Follow the marked trails that lead along the coast, providing breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. The hike is approximately 3 kilometers and should take about 1 hour. Ensure you're wearing appropriate footwear, and bring plenty of water. This option is free of cost.
