    From the Lille Flandres train station, head southeast on Rue de l'Hôpital Militaire, then take a left onto Rue de la Gare. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de Paris. Turn right onto Rue de Paris and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Place François Mitterrand. Henri Matisse Park will be on your left. Look for the park entrance with green gates.

    From the Lille Europe train station, take Metro Line 2 (the blue line) towards 'Lille Grand Palais' and get off at the 'Lille Flandres' station (one stop). From there, switch to Metro Line 1 (the red line) towards '4 Cantons' and get off at 'Porte de Valenciennes' (2 stops). Exit the metro and walk straight down Rue de Valenciennes. Turn right onto Rue de la République and continue until you reach Place François Mitterrand. Henri Matisse Park will be visible on your left.
