Bus
From Lille, head to the Lille Europe train station. Once there, take Bus number 18 towards Zonnebeke. The bus stop is located right outside the station. Make sure to validate your ticket before boarding. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'Zonnebeke - Lange Dreve' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Polygon Wood, which is just a few minutes away.
Train and Walk
Make your way to Lille Flandres train station in the city center. Purchase a ticket to Zonnebeke station. Trains run approximately every hour, so check the timetable for the best option. Once you arrive at Zonnebeke station, exit the station and head southwest on Rue de la Gare. After about 10 minutes, turn left onto Lange Dreve and continue walking. Polygon Wood will be on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local rental service in Lille. Head towards the EuroVelo 5 cycling route which leads towards Zonnebeke. Follow the signs for approximately 12 kilometers, which should take around 45 minutes by bike. Upon reaching Zonnebeke, make your way to Lange Dreve and head towards Polygon Wood, which will be clearly marked.
