Start at any metro station in Lyon and take Metro Line B towards Gare d'Oullins. Get off at the last stop, 'Gare d'Oullins'. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the tram stop and board Tram Line T2 towards Saint-Priest. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at 'Châtillon'. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Old Castle. Head west on Rue de la République, then turn left onto Rue des Remparts until you reach 32 Imp. des Remparts, where the castle is located.

Public Transport - Bus
From the city center, find a bus stop for Line 58 at 'Gare Part-Dieu' station. Take the bus towards Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne. The journey will take about 40 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne Gare'. From there, walk approximately 15 minutes to Old Castle by heading south on Rue de la Gare, then take a left on Rue des Remparts, continuing until you reach 32 Imp. des Remparts.

If you are near the Lyon Part-Dieu area, you can walk to Old Castle, but it will take about 1.5 hours. Start by heading northwest on Avenue Charles de Gaulle, then continue straight onto Rue des Charmettes. Follow signs for D383 towards Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne. After about 6 km, you will reach Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne. Continue on Rue des Remparts until you reach 32 Imp. des Remparts, where the Old Castle is located.
