Getting There

• Train

  From Lyon, head to the Lyon Part-Dieu train station. You can take the Metro Line B (Blue Line) from any station in Lyon to the Part-Dieu stop. Once at Part-Dieu, look for the train services toward Vienne. Buy a ticket to Vienne at the ticket counter or a self-service machine. Trains to Vienne run regularly, so check the schedule and board the next available train. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Vienne station, exit the station and walk towards Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République, then turn right onto Rue Chantelouve. The Théâtre de Vienne will be on your right at 4 Rue Chantelouve.

• Bus

  From Lyon, go to the Lyon Perrache bus station. You can take the Metro Line A (Green Line) to Perrache. Once you arrive, look for the bus services heading to Vienne. Purchase your ticket from the ticket counter or a machine. Board the bus that goes to Vienne, which typically takes about 45 minutes. When you arrive at Vienne, get off at the nearest bus stop to the city center. Walk towards Rue de la République, then turn right onto Rue Chantelouve. The Théâtre de Vienne will be on your right at 4 Rue Chantelouve.

• Bicycle

  For a more scenic route, consider renting a bicycle in Lyon. You can use the Vélo'v bike-sharing system. Start in the city center and head towards the Rhône River. Follow the bike path along the river heading south until you reach Vienne. The ride is approximately 30 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you enter Vienne, navigate to Rue de la République, then turn right onto Rue Chantelouve. The Théâtre de Vienne will be on your right at 4 Rue Chantelouve.
