Getting There

Walking
If you're already in the vicinity of Fourvière, head towards the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, which is a prominent landmark. From the basilica, exit and take the path leading down towards Rue Cleberg. Walk straight down the hill on Rue Cleberg, and Insula basilicale will be located on your left at 17 Rue Cleberg, a short 5-minute walk.

Funicular
If you are further away in the Fourvière area, you can take the funicular from the Fourvière Funicular Station. Purchase a ticket for about €1.80 at the ticket machine or use a travel card if you have one. Take the funicular down to Vieux Lyon. Once you exit the funicular, walk towards the Rue Cleberg. Insula basilicale is about a 10-minute walk from the Vieux Lyon station. Head up Rue Saint-Jean, turn left on Rue des Forges, and then take a right onto Rue Cleberg.

You can take bus line C from the Fourvière area. Board the bus at the nearest stop; the ticket costs about €1.80. Get off at the stop called 'Basilique'. From there, walk down Rue Cleberg directly to Insula basilicale, which is about a 5-minute walk.
