Getting there

Metro

If you're starting from the Lyon Part-Dieu train station, take Metro line B towards Jean Macé. Get off at the next stop, which is Saxe-Gambetta. From there, transfer to Metro line D towards Gare de Vaise. Alight at the fourth stop, which is Bellecour. Once you exit the station, head south towards Rue de la République, then turn left onto Rue du Président Édouard Herriot. Continue straight until you reach Rue René Leynaud, where you will find Escalier Mermet at number 25.

Tram

If you are near the Hôtel de Ville, take Tram line T1 towards IUT Feyssine. Ride for three stops and get off at the stop named Bellecour. From there, walk south along Rue de la République until you reach Rue du Président Édouard Herriot. Turn left on this street, and then left again onto Rue René Leynaud. Escalier Mermet will be on your left at number 25.

Walking

If you are in the Vieux Lyon area, you can walk to Escalier Mermet. Head northeast on Rue Saint-Jean, then turn right onto Rue du Boeuf. Continue until you reach Rue du Président Édouard Herriot, and turn left. Walk straight until you reach Rue René Leynaud, and turn right. Escalier Mermet will be at 25 Rue René Leynaud.

Bus

From the Place des Terreaux, take Bus line C3 towards Lyon Est. Get off at the stop named Bellecour. From there, walk south along Rue de la République until you reach Rue du Président Édouard Herriot. Turn left, then take another left onto Rue René Leynaud, where you will find Escalier Mermet at number 25.
