Metro
Take Metro Line A from any station in Lyon. If you are starting from the 'Part-Dieu' station, board the train towards 'Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie'. Get off at the 'Bellecour' station (approximately 6 minutes). Once you exit the station, head west on Rue de la République, which is a pedestrian street lined with shops. Continue straight until you reach Place des Jacobins, which is about a 5-minute walk from the metro exit.
Tram
If you are near the 'Gare Saint-Paul' area, you can board Tram Line T1 towards 'Debourg'. Get off at the 'Place des Jacobins' stop. The fountain is located directly in front of you as you exit the tram, making it very accessible.
Walking
If you are in the vicinity of Vieux Lyon (Old Lyon), you can walk to the Fontaine des Jacobins. Head north on Rue Saint-Jean, then turn left onto Rue de la République. Continue walking straight for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Place des Jacobins. The fountain is located in the center of the square, surrounded by beautiful architecture.
Bus
You can take Bus Line C3 from various parts of the city. If you're near the 'Gare Part-Dieu', board the bus towards 'Lyon 8e - Mairie'. Get off at the 'Place des Jacobins' stop. The fountain is just a short walk from the bus stop, right in the square.
