The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Meximieux - Pérouges, exit the station and follow signs for the village. It's about a 20-minute walk (1.5 km). Head east on Rue de l'Industrie towards Rue des Renaudières. Continue straight until you reach the village where you will see the signs for 'Pérouges'.

    Take the bus number 180 from Lyon's Perrache bus station to Pérouges. The bus ride takes around 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pérouges stop, follow the signs to the village center, which is only a short 5-minute walk away. Head up the main road, Rue des Granges, which will lead you straight into the historic center of Pérouges.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Lyon. From the city center, take the bike path towards the 'Voie Verte du Canal de Jonage'. This scenic route will lead you towards Meximieux.
