Metro
To reach Pl. Carnot, take the Metro Line A from any station in Lyon. If you're starting from the Perrache station, which is close to the city center, board the train heading towards Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie. Get off at the 'Bellecour' station, which is just a few stops away. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Place Bellecour. From there, walk towards Rue de la République and follow it until you reach the junction with Rue de l’Ancienne Préfecture. Continue straight to find Pl. Carnot.
Tram
If you prefer to take the tram, you can board Tram Line T1 from the 'Part-Dieu' station. Ride the tram towards Debourg and get off at the 'Perrache' stop. From the tram stop, walk straight towards the Place Carnot, which is just a few minutes away. Head southwest on Rue de la Charité, and you will see the square ahead.
Bus
To get to Pl. Carnot by bus, find a nearby bus stop and take Bus Line C3. If you are near the 'Gare Saint-Paul', board the bus towards 'Gare de Vaise'. Get off at the 'Perrache' stop. After exiting the bus, walk in the direction of the Place Carnot, which is approximately a five-minute walk. Head south on Rue de la Charité and continue until you reach the square.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the Lyon city center, you can easily walk to Pl. Carnot. From Place Bellecour, head southwest on Rue de la République. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de l’Ancienne Préfecture. Turn left onto Rue de l’Ancienne Préfecture, and you will soon find Pl. Carnot.
