Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Marseille. Head east on Boulevard des Dames toward Rue de la Republique. Merge onto A50 towards Toulon. Take exit 1 toward La Joliette. Follow the signs for A55 and continue on to the N568. Take the exit toward Avenue de la Méditerranée. Follow the signs for Place Estrangin Pastré. The exact location, Fontaine Estrangin, is at Place Estrangin Pastré, 13006 Marseille. Parking is available nearby; however, be prepared to pay for parking, which typically costs around €2-€3 per hour.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Fontaine Estrangin using public transportation, start by taking the Metro Line 1 (Blue Line) from any central station such as Gare Saint-Charles. Travel toward La Fourragère and disembark at the Estrangin Préfecture station. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk. Exit the station and turn left onto Rue de la Préfecture, then follow it until you reach Place Estrangin Pastré. Be aware that a single Metro ticket costs €1.70.

• Walking from Metro

  If you are already near the Estrangin Préfecture Metro station, upon exiting, take Rue de la Préfecture. Walk straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Palud. Turn right onto Rue de la Palud, and continue until you see signs directing you to Place Estrangin Pastré. The whole walking journey should take about 5-10 minutes.
