Car
If you're driving from central Marseille, take the A50 motorway towards Toulon. Exit at 'Marseille - La Timone' and follow signs for 'Luminy'. Once you reach Luminy, park at the designated parking area near the campus. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 for the day. After parking, follow the signs to the Calanque de Sugiton hiking trail.
Public Transportation
To reach Calanque de Sugiton via public transport, take Metro Line 2 (the blue line) to the station 'Rond-Point du Prado'. From there, catch bus number 21 towards 'Luminy'. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the last stop, which is near the Luminy campus. You will need to walk from the bus stop to the parking area, and then follow the signs to the hiking trail leading to Calanque de Sugiton. Bus tickets typically cost around €1.70.
Hiking
Once you arrive at the Luminy campus area, you'll need to embark on a hike to reach Calanque de Sugiton. The trail is well-marked and takes about 30-45 minutes to reach the calanque. The hike is moderately challenging, with some steep sections, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Follow the path that leads you along the cliffs with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.
