Public Transport
From Marseille city center, take bus line B1 from Castellane station towards Luminy. Alight at the 'Luminy PN des Calanques' stop, near the university campus. From the bus stop, follow the signs towards Calanque de Sugiton. The hike to the calanque takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. A single bus ticket costs €1.90 if purchased on the bus, or €1.60 if purchased in advance. Remember to validate your ticket upon boarding.
Driving
Drive towards Luminy University (Avenue de Luminy, 13009 Marseille). There is free parking available near the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts et d'Architecture. Parking can fill up quickly, especially during peak season, so arrive early. From the parking area, follow the marked trail towards Calanque de Sugiton. Be aware that access to the calanque may require a reservation during certain periods, and vehicle access to some Calanques (Morgiou, Sormiou, Callelongue) is restricted during parts of the year.
Walking
If you are already in the Luminy area, follow Avenue de Luminy towards the university campus. The trailhead for Calanque de Sugiton is located near the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts et d'Architecture. Look for the signs indicating the direction of the calanque. The walk from the university to the calanque is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Be prepared for a moderately challenging hike with some steep sections.
