Start by taking the Metro Line 2 (the blue line) from any station in Marseille towards 'Sainte-Marguerite Dromel'. If you are starting from Vieux Port, board the train at 'Vieux Port' station. After 5 stops, get off at 'Sainte-Marguerite Dromel'. From there, transfer to bus number 21 towards 'Les Baumettes'. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop 'Col de la Gineste'. This bus will take you directly up towards the scenic Col de la Gineste area.

If you are near the Old Port (Vieux Port) area, you can also consider walking. Head southeast on Rue de la République, then turn left onto Rue de la Canebière. Continue straight until you reach the Palais des Congrès. From there, head towards Parc Borély. Once you reach Parc Borély, follow the signs leading to Rte de Cassis. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, offering beautiful views along the way.
