If you are near the Vieux Port (Old Port) area, take Metro Line 1 (the blue line) from the Vieux Port station towards La Rose. Get off at the next stop, which is the 'Colbert - Hotel de Region' station. From here, exit the station and walk towards the south on Rue de la République for about 5 minutes until you reach Place Villeneuve-Bargemon, where Ville de Marseille is located.
