Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the nearest major road. From Toulouse, take the A61 highway towards Carcassonne. Merge onto the A20 towards Brive-la-Gaillarde. Take exit 58 for Cahors/Pradines. Continue on D911 until you reach Pradines. Once in Pradines, follow Chem. de l'Île until you arrive at Cape Nature Recreation Park. Please note that parking is available on-site, and it may incur a small fee of approximately €5 for the day.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Cape Nature Recreation Park via public transportation, take a train from Toulouse to Cahors. The train journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Cahors train station, take bus line 4 towards Pradines. Get off at the 'Pradines - Chem. de l'Île' stop, which is a short walk from the park entrance. Make sure to check the latest bus schedule as they may vary. A one-way train ticket costs around €15, and the bus fare is approximately €2.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike in Cahors and head towards Pradines. The distance is about 6 kilometers and can be covered in approximately 25 minutes. Follow the D911 road, which has a designated bike lane. Ensure you have a map or GPS to navigate as some signs may not be clearly marked. Carry enough water and snacks as there are limited facilities along the route.

• Walking

  If you are already in Pradines, you can walk to Cape Nature Recreation Park. It is located about 1.5 kilometers from the town center, which would take approximately 20-30 minutes on foot. Head east on Rue de la République, then turn left onto Chem. de l'Île. Follow this road until you reach the park entrance. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as the path may be uneven in places.
