Walking
From the center of Autoire, near the fountain, walk past the Auberge and take the road slightly to the right, following signs for the Cascade d'Autoire. This route will take you along the Château de Limargue. At the first bend to the right, leave the road and take the path that ascends to the left. Follow this path to the Chapelle Saint-Roch, then continue on the same path slightly to your right. At the next fork, follow the descending path. Just before the small metal bridge, when you reach the river, turn left. The walk from the village center to the base of the waterfall takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Parking is available at Parking Saint-Roch (2 euros per day) or Parking du Ruisseau (2 euros per day).
Driving
If driving, approach Autoire via the D38 from the D673 (from Padirac) or the D807 (from Lavergne/Gramat). Follow signs to 'Aire Saint-Roch,' a parking area south of the village near the chapel. From the parking area, a path directly accesses the trail leading to the waterfall. Parking costs 2 euros per day for cars and motorcycles. Alternatively, you can park at the 'parking du ruisseau' north of the village for the same price.
