From the village of Montségur, follow the D9 towards the castle. The road winds uphill for approximately 1.5 km to the 'parking du col de Montségur' at the foot of the pog. Parking is free and unlimited. From the parking area, a 30-35 minute walk up a steep mountain path is required to reach the castle entrance. Good walking shoes are essential.
