Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards the town of Gaillac, which is approximately 30 km north of Senouillac. From Gaillac, take the D999 road towards Albi. After about 10 km, turn right onto the D19 towards Senouillac. Follow the D19 for about 5 km, and you will see signs for Mauriac Castle. The castle is located at Lieu dit, 81600 Senouillac. There is free parking available at the site.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Mauriac Castle using public transportation, start by taking a train from Toulouse to Gaillac, which takes about 1 hour. From Gaillac, you can catch a local bus (Bus Number 24) to Senouillac. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Senouillac, it is about a 15-minute walk to the castle. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may not run frequently. The total cost for the train and bus can vary, but expect to pay around €15-€20.

• Bicycle

  For those feeling adventurous, cycling is a great way to explore the area. Rent a bicycle in Gaillac and take the scenic route through the vineyards. Follow the D999 to the D19, then head towards Senouillac. The distance is roughly 10-12 km, and it will take around 40-50 minutes. Ensure you have a helmet, water, and a map or GPS device.
